Remote editing
Edit and save remote files in place with the built-in Monaco (VS Code) editor, tabs, and split view.
Moorix embeds the Monaco engine — the same editor that powers VS Code — so you can open, edit, and save remote files directly, with full syntax highlighting.
- Edit and save remote files in place, straight from SFTP
- Multi-file tabs, split view, and minimize-to-dock
- Syntax highlighting powered by the Monaco engine
Edit & save a remote file
- 1In the File manager (SFTP) remote pane, double-click a file to open it in the built-in editor.
- 2Make your changes with full syntax highlighting. Open more files in tabs, or use split view to see two files at once. Minimize the editor to the dock to keep working in the terminal.
- 3Press Ctrl / ⌘ + S to save. The file is written back over the connection, in place — no download-edit-reupload cycle.
